Seasoned enterprise technology executive leading key global account strategy and relationships. I have a 20 year background marrying complex business use cases to data and analytic technology solutions and implementations. Data integration, warehousing, intelligence and business analytics, CRM, Apache Hadoop/Spark and Cloud Based Data platforms (SaaS) are my areas of concentration & experience.
In 2015/2016, I scratched a long time entrepreneurial itch and founded a modern wellness brand, Float Sixty. With multiple locations in Chicago and Northwest Indiana, the Float Sixty concept has facilitated over 50,000 float therapy (aka sensory deprivation), cryotherapy and infrared sauna sessions to a database of over 35,000 clients with a portion being recurring members. Float Sixty is positioned as an industry leader in this health and wellness category and has been featured on CNN, ABC, CBS, PBS, Fox Sports, Crains Chicago Business as well as several blogs, travel sites and news outlets. We are active with two Chicago business and technology incubators, 1871 and Matter. Atomic Theta is a technology project that correlates biometric markers to the modalities of meditation and floating. Float Sixty was recently nominated for the prestigious Chicago Innovation Awards as well as the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program. Personally I was grateful to be featured on the Crains Chicago Business Notable Entrepreneur list in 2019 and a finalist for Northwest Indiana’s Influential Women Award.
My business and technical experience fuels my passion for helping non-profits. I am very active in the community and lead a group of ladies (Service League) in philanthropic efforts that support over 35 non-profits. Recognizing that many of these organizations need a way to get the word out on the good work they do, I founded and host a radio show and podcast called Speaking of Charity. I also enjoy business mentoring as well as guest lecturing and am active at DePaul University and Purdue University Northwest. I am also an active Toastmaster.
In my technology career, my clients view me as a business oriented consultant who can find clear solutions in the most complex data environments. I have experience working with or working for several startups (MapR Technologies, Hortonworks, Cloudera, Action IQ), Teradata and software-as-a-service (SaaS) companies. These best-in-class organizations have been backed by world-class investors including Andressen Horowitz, FirstMark Capital, Amplify Partners, Bowery Capital, Sequoia and the Stanford Engineering Venture Fund.
